Duleep Allirajah
Duleep Allirajah is Chief Executive of the Richmond Group of Charities, a coalition of 12 national health and care charities. Duleep has worked in policy and influencing roles, predominantly in the voluntary sector for 25 years. Prior to joining the Richmond Group, he was Assistant Director of Policy and Campaigns at the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP), where he led the development of Fit for the Future, the College’s vision for the future of general practice. Duleep’s previous roles include Head of Insight and Public Affairs at the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman (PHSO) and Head of Policy at Macmillan Cancer Support. At Macmillan, he played a leading role in achieving policy change on a range of issues from hospital car parking and prescription charges to redesigning post-treatment care and support for cancer survivors.
