Distie’s expertise lies in creating and leading new teams, managing large transition projects, finding creative solutions to complex problems, and mentoring individuals for growth in order to be their best selves.

Combining Cerner’s clinical capabilities with Oracle’s enterprise platforms, analytics, and automation expertise that will change health and care in a way that simply hasn’t been possible before. Distie has been at the helm of this transition, working closely with Oracle leadership to ensure alignment and our mission to improve healthcare for all remains firmly at the forefront.
Prior to her appointment as General Manager of Oracle Health UK, Distie was the senior executive responsible for corporate affairs; client reference and optimisation; marketing and communications; and sales support organisations across Cerner’s current and emerging markets outside the U.S.
Joining the company in 2005, Distie led teams with executive engagement responsibilities including delivering strategic content to C-level clients around the world and establishing and advocating our healthcare policy position across governments at all levels. Since the introduction of statutory Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) in 2022, Distie has led the way in how Oracle Health works in partnership with organisations to tackle complex healthcare challenges.
Distie moved to London in 2008 to establish and lead the development of direct client engagement. This led to the creation of a 24,000 square foot meeting and experience space called the Collaboration Centre, as well as a client reference program for Europe.
Prior to joining Oracle Health, Distie worked for the U.S. Government in both the White House and the Department of Homeland Security, which gave her a deep understanding of working within complex organisations.
Distie has a Bachelor of Science in political science and communications from Simpson College and a Masters in Campaign Management from The George Washington University in Washington, DC.
With a passion for women’s roles in business, Distie serves as a mentor for emerging female leaders.
