Catherine is a very experienced and successful business professional who has spent over 40 years working with NHS organisations and commercial healthcare companies. In addition, a registered nurse who is passionate in ensuring patient care is delivered at the highest level of quality and safety.
Previous clinical and non-clinical roles have been held within the emergency, acute, domiciliary and primary care settings.
Catherine’s key skills include International Business Development, Contract Negotiation, Clinical and Non-clinical Operational Management, Project & Contract Management, Franchise Business Transition, Design and Organisation of Educational & Training Programmes.
As Deputy Director for Business Development, Catherine has the responsibility for developing innovative local and worldwide healthcare education, telemedicine and other non-NHS business that will support the delivery of ground-breaking and expert healthcare services across the globe. Catherine has led on the formation of the Alder Hey International Telemedicine platform to be launched in August 2022 providing a global premium 2nd Opinion service allowing access to eminent paediatric clinicians who are at the forefront of paediatric healthcare, education, and research.
She is the key link for all non-NHS business collaborations Internationally and is responsible for the successful business collaboration that led to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital being awarded the Department of International Trade Greater China Awards 2019 & 2020 – Education Links award winner.
Recent successful collaborations and alliances are across, India, Vietnam, Kenya, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan.
Catherine works in partnership with the Department for International Trade, United Kingdom International Healthcare Management Association (UKIHMA) and the UK & Kenya Healthcare Alliance (UKKHA), Arab Chamber of Commerce & Liverpool China Partnership.
