Bruno Botelho serves as the Director of Digital Operations and Innovation at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Programme Director for the North West London Federated Data Platform. His leadership has been pivotal in advancing digital transformation to enhance patient care and operational efficiency. Bruno's forward-thinking approach fosters a culture of continuous improvement, driving innovation across the organisation and positioning the Trust at the forefront of healthcare technology.

With a background in nursing, Bruno began his NHS career as a registered nurse before moving into operational roles, including Efficiency Lead and General Manager. He joined Chelsea and Westminster in 2017 as Divisional Director of Operations and co-led the rollout of an Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system, enabling a paperless environment across hospital sites. Bruno also spearheaded the CW Innovation programme, introducing over 80 solutions such as remote monitoring and AI-driven tools. His work on the Federated Data Platform has enhanced data integration and service planning. His vision emphasises resilient infrastructure, data-driven decision-making, and wearable technology to support remote care—shaping a digitally empowered, patient-centred healthcare system
