Andrew has worked in social care since leaving university, starting in residential care and ending up as a commissioner of adult social care services. He has worked as Assistant Director for Care Commissioning at Staffordshire County Council since 2017. His MSc was in Theory of Constraints (Health and Social Care Management). He chairs the adult social care workforce network for ADASS (the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services) in the West Midlands.
