Social-Ability

Stand: G1

Social-Ability provides interactive light therapy technology designed to support rehabilitation, engagement and wellbeing across healthcare and care settings.

Used throughout the NHS, community services and long-term care environments, the technology helps tackle deconditioning by encouraging movement, cognitive stimulation, social interaction and meaningful participation in therapy and daily activity.

Interactive light therapy is being used across stroke rehabilitation, frailty pathways, dementia care, paediatrics, learning disability services, mental health settings and ICU/ITU recovery. Activities are projected onto floors and tables, creating accessible, low-pressure opportunities for movement, rehabilitation and engagement.

The system supports NHS priorities around prevention, recovery, personalised care and non-pharmacological intervention, helping teams improve patient experience while supporting participation in rehabilitation and wellbeing activity.

Social-Ability works with healthcare providers across the UK and internationally, delivering training, implementation support and ongoing development to ensure the technology is embedded meaningfully within frontline services.

What will be showcased on our stand?

Social-Ability will be showcasing its interactive light therapy technology and how it is being used across NHS and healthcare settings to support rehabilitation, engagement and the prevention of deconditioning.

Visitors will be able to experience demonstrations of interactive activities projected onto floors and tables, designed to encourage movement, cognitive stimulation, social interaction & participation in therapy. The technology is used across stroke rehabilitation, frailty pathways, dementia care, paediatrics, learning disability services, mental health & ICU/ITU recovery settings.

The stand will demonstrate how interactive light therapy can support functional rehabilitation, improve patient engagement, reduce inactivity & provide non-pharmacological approaches to distress and agitation. Visitors will also see examples of sensory experiences, personalised content and therapeutic activities used within hospital, community and long-term care environments.

Case studies, videos and outcome data from NHS and care providers will be available throughout the event, alongside discussions around implementation, training and integration into rehabilitation and patient wellbeing pathways.
