The NHS Race and Health Observatory is an independent
body working to identify
and tackle ethnic and racial inequalities in health and care. It does this by
focusing on evidence, policy recommendations and practical solutions with
regards to long-standing inequalities affecting ethnic minority patients,
communities and the healthcare workforce. Its work includes a focus on areas
such as maternal and neonatal outcomes, sickle cell disease, mental health,
data and digital inclusion – as well as examining equity in genomics and
precision medicine, working to supporting
the implementation of tangible actions.
What will be showcased on our stand?
A showcase of the range of the Observatory’s work, including the latest reports and resources. Practical materials and visual
resources including videos and infographics on display will support organisations and leaders across healthcare
in tackling racial health inequity. These resource assets will be highlighted via a range of platforms, channels, and outlets.
