NHS Employers is the employers’ organisation for the NHS in England. We support workforce leaders and represent employers to build a sustainable workforce and enable organisations to be the best employers they can be.
The Refugee Health and Care Employment Programme is scaling the recruitment of refugee and displaced talent as a workforce solution across clinical and non-clinical roles
in the NHS.
Building on successful local initiatives, we have supported 200+ healthcare professionals into NHS employment and developed system-wide pathways.
We work in partnership with NHS organisations, NHS England, DWP, British Red Cross, Health Foundation, Refugee Council, REACHE, Ukrainian Medical Charity, Breaking Barriers, ReSTORE, REPOD and LRDP.

the skills of refugee and displaced talent to strengthen workforce supply, inclusion, and patient care.
Mission: To unlock the skills and experience of
refugees and displaced people to support delivery of high-quality patient care.
Aim: To support the successful integration of
people from forced migration backgrounds into the health and care workforce through scalable, sustainable employment pathways.
