The National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) is the health and social care research arm of the nation.
Working in partnership with the NHS, universities, local government, other research funders, patients and the public - we fund, enable and deliver world-leading health and social care research that improves people's health and wellbeing and promotes economic growth. NIHR is funded by the Department of Health and Social Care.
The NIHR HealthTech Research Centre Network, hosted by Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, provides strategic leadership and support for the 14 NIHR HealthTech Research Centres across England.
The NIHR HRC Network brings together experts from across the HealthTech industry, to speed up the development and evaluation of new medical devices, digital health tools, and diagnostics, helping these innovations reach the NHS sooner.
