Guide Dogs

Stand: G18

We are Guide Dogs. And we’re here to help people with sight loss live the life they choose.

Over the years we’ve developed a wide range of services with and without dogs to support people living with a vision impairment.

Children and adults. Friends and family. Whoever you are, our expert staff, dedicated volunteers and life-changing dogs are here to help you live actively, independently, and well.

We’re a charity, almost entirely funded by donations, and we are the world’s largest assistance dog organisation. As world leaders in puppy socialisation and dog training, we’re the only organisation to breed and train guide dogs in the UK. We’re also the largest employer of specialists dedicated to helping children and young people overcome the challenges of sight loss.

What will be showcased on our stand?

More Than a Guide Dog: Supporting Life With Sight Loss

Visit our stand to explore the breadth of support we provide for adults, children, young people and families living with vision impairment that go beyond our iconic Guide Dog service.

Our friendly team of specialists will be available to talk about our wide range of services, including Rehabilitation and Habilitation, Sighted Guide, Outreach, and Technology support. We’ll be showcasing how our teams work across the UK to empower people with sight loss to live the life they choose.

On the stand, you may see some assistive technology in action, learn about service pathways and outcomes, and you may even meet one of our inspiring Buddy Dogs.

We’ll also be sharing information about volunteering and fundraising opportunities, and you can register for a Sighted Guide training session while you visit.

Whether you’re a professional looking to connect, refer or collaborate, or someone with sight loss wanting to explore available support, come and talk to us to learn more about the work we do beyond our amazing Guide Dog service.
