The role of the NHS on the global stage

Despite being a national health system, the NHS has always been part of the wider global health system, too.

In recent years the NHS's international engagement has expanded. NHS organisations at national and local levels can now include engagement in research partnerships, the delivery of education and training programmes, and consulting on the design of other systems as just some of the opportunities open to them.

This expanding reach presents numerous opportunities, but is associated with added complexity too.

As we look into the future, join this session to hear from leaders at a local and national level to get a better understanding of NHS engagement on the global stage, the pressing challenges, and the strategic opportunities.

This session is part of the International Zone, which is supported by Healthcare UK.
