The role of NEDs in international commercial opportunities

Non-Executive Directors (NED’s) can play an important role in their organisation’s international commercial work by providing valuable oversight of strategy and contributing their experience from other sectors. However, this role is not always well understood or consistently incorporated into international work.

With speakers from the Department for International Trade and NHS trusts, this session looks to overcome this challenge by providing an opportunity for NED’s to learn about how NHS trusts are pursuing international opportunities, how they can most effectively contribute their insights, and discuss how they can be better supported by DIT, the NHS Confederation and their employers to do this most effectively.

This session is part of the International feature zone, which is supported by Healthcare UK.
