This session, led by world-renowned ageing expert Professor Sir Muir Gray, will explore how we change the narrative around ageing and how we frame the health and social care agenda to better suit an ageing society.

Focusing on ‘renaissance not retirement’ we will explore the positives of an ageing population and will focus on all aspects, including the fiscal case for focusing on healthy life expectancy. The session will consider how to support our ageing society to benefit from the advances in medicine that have helped us live longer lives, and how the NHS and social care working together can make ageing something to be looked forward to.
