The importance of building effective non-executive director relationships for effective system working

This session will highlight the vital role of non-executive directors (NEDs) in system working, the importance of NEDs in 'thinking systems' and in building effective relationships across systems. NEDs will share their experiences of system-level work, where they are thinking and working differently in partnership across the system and the difference it is making in their communities and population. This will include their reflections, their learning on what they would do differently and takeaway tips.

The panel will include NEDs from across acute, community and integrated care systems who have experience of system working.

This session is part of the Recovery and Transformation Zone, which is supported by Novartis Pharmaceuticals UK.
