Operational action on health inequalities

Health inequalities

The session will explore the patient's journey along the care pathway, and the opportunities at each stage to ensure the potential for inequitable access, experiences and outcomes is reduced in line with the five national priorities for tackling health inequalities.

You will be given the practical tools required to tackle health inequalities at all stages of the care pathway. We will share examples of things that have worked and things that haven't, and you will leave the session with a clear understanding of what you can do to further this agenda within your own sphere of influence. Joining the national director of health inequalities, expert speakers will include leaders who have made tangible and significant differences on this agenda within their organisations.

There will also be the opportunity to connect with peers both within the session and beyond, for ongoing peer support.
