Integrating digital mental health services into mental health pathways to improve access to mental health support – the story of Kooth

This session will look at the role of digital mental health support and what needs to be put in place to ensure it is integrated into mental health pathways to improve access to safe and demonstrably, effective mental health support for children, young people and adults.

It will be based on the organisation, Kooth Digital Health, which was set-up 20 years ago and has grown to become a trusted provider of digital mental health service and is the largest contributor to NHS England’s Mental Health Services Data Set access figures.

Speakers will discuss Kooth’s clinical model and introduce SWAN-OM (Session Wants and Needs Outcome Measure),and more broadly discuss the role services such as Kooth have within care pathways and the importance of ensuring robust governance when commissioning such services.
