Improving wellbeing of older people: UK-Canada AgeTech Innovation Exchange

The UK Canada AgeTech Innovation Exchange programme represents a consortium of organisations across the UK and Canada, working together to improve the health and wellbeing of older people by supporting innovation in healthy ageing. The programme, funded by UKRI’s Innovate UK, comprises key partners including the AHSNs, Northern Health Science Alliance (NHSA), CABHI, Age-Well and the Department for Business and Trade.

This panel of UK and Canadian representatives will explore how two nations can exchange innovations to drive forward healthy ageing. Members of the audience will see how opening horizons to international collaboration can produce new ideas to mutual benefit for patients both at home and overseas.
