From evidence to action: how staff engagement delivers better outcomes
The NHS People Plan set out a key ambition to have more people working differently in a compassionate and inclusive culture. This session will examine key concepts that underpin staff engagement in the NHS: the People Promise and the NHS Staff Survey.
It will also cover the role of health and wellbeing champions in creating cultures of wellbeing across the NHS.
Our speakers will help colleagues to understand more about the impact of this work through two case studies. The engagement case study will explore the improved results of an exemplary organisation who have seen improvement across all people promise elements.
The health and wellbeing case study will cover the Wellbeing Champion journey and how an organisation built and sustained an active network of champions to support the delivery of our strategic wellbeing and engagement aims.
