The ten-year health plan: making the vision a reality
The government’s 10 Year Health Plan sets out a long-term vision for the future of health and care. Developed through wide-ranging engagement with staff, patients and the public, it proposes major changes to how services are delivered and represents the most significant reform of the healthcare system since its inception.
Delivering this vision will be challenging, particularly in the context of ongoing operational and financial pressures. This session, chaired by NHS Confederation CEO Matthew Taylor, brings together prominent national and local leaders to share their perspectives on what it will take to turn the plan into reality – and to build a stronger healthcare service for the future.
