Tackling ethnic health inequity together: networking for minoritised ethnic professionals

Charter 4
Collaboration / partnerships / patient or public engagement , Health inequalities

Join the NHS Race and Health Observatory for an energising networking lunch, to connect with fellow minoritised ethnic professionals across health, research and VCSE sectors working to tackle ethnic health inequity.

Professor Habib Naqvi MBE, chief executive of the NHS Race and Health Observatory; Matthew Johnson, chief executive of Race on the Agenda; and Tinuke Awe, co-founder of 5 X More, will share their insights on navigating their respective sectors to spotlight and tackle ethnic health inequity, the importance of working in equal partnership with racialised communities, and the transformative impact of a diverse workforce.

We’ll facilitate an open networking session over lunch, which will be an affirming space to build relationships with peers across sectors.

Striving towards ethnic health equity, while vital and rewarding work, can be challenging and isolating, especially for minoritised ethnic professionals. This is a space for you to recharge, connect, and leave feeling supported by your peers and the NHS Race and Health Observatory in this important work.
