Asthma is one of the most prevalent long-term conditions in the UK, affecting around 5.4 million people. An estimated 200,000 people experience severe asthma. For these patients, timely access to the best available treatment is vital to manage the risk of further attacks. University Hospital Birmingham (UHB) is the lead hub in one of the largest severe asthma networks in England, experiencing high referrals and a challenging administrative burden. This session will share the learnings of a collaborative working project between UHB and Sanofi, which improved patient experience while increasing service capacity.

This session is sponsored by Sanofi.
