Size of the innovation prize: where to focus transformation to deliver growth

Based on the findings of a brand-new report, this session will share insights gained into the potential value of health innovation to deliver an ‘NHS fit for the future’ and ‘kick start the economy’ through improved NHS productivity, reduced economic inactivity and increased growth for innovative healthcare businesses.

This session will highlight case studies that demonstrate how investing in health innovation results in a more prosperous local economy, explore some of the areas of greatest opportunity presented for different populations and cohorts, and discuss how we can better embrace innovation to capitalise on the ‘size of the prize’.
