This session will explore the strategic planning necessary to integrate Da Vinci Robotic-Assisted Surgery (RAS) into healthcare systems with a focus on enhancing equity, productivity and patient outcomes. Participants will learn about the benefits of RAS in increasing surgical efficiency, the importance of equitable access to advanced surgical technologies and how to address disparities in healthcare delivery. Emphasis will be placed on the operational aspects of integrating RAS into a healthcare facility’s weekly schedule to enhance productivity, exploring data-driven approaches to measure and improve patient outcomes, ensuring that all patients, regardless of socioeconomic status, can benefit from the advancements in RAS.
