This session examines the dual role of innovation in healthcare: as both a disruptor and a driver of improvement. Drawing on insights from the NHS InSites programme, the session will feature case studies and a panel discussion to share practical tips for maximising the success of innovation.

Hear first-hand from two NHS organisations and an NHS patient entrepreneur about projects that have succeeded, those that faced challenges, and the lessons learned along the way. Gain insights on the dual nature of innovation from our patient entrepreneur, delve into the key challenges and turning points of projects at Alder Hey and Newcastle, and draw inspirations from reflections on navigating disruptive innovations and transforming them into enablers.

Participate in a live Q&A and interactive poll, and get advice from our panel on the challenges your face.
