Discover how the award-winning Rotherham Care Homes Hydration Project improved hydration in care homes, leading to impressive reductions in all measured health problems.

The session will cover how the team worked with care home staff; the transformative impact of improving hydration – including a reduction in ambulance call outs; significant reductions in urinary tract infections; and reductions in falls. It will explore the simple interventions that can have a significant impact, with one area saving £1.2 million in 12 months.

The session will underscore the critical role of education in enhancing care, improving health outcomes and reducing pressure on services.
