This session will provide an introduction to the types of support available for healthcare innovation.

These innovation programmes exists for two reasons:

• We want to make the NHS a great place to innovate, so that we can accelerate the development of valuable innovations for our citizens.
• We want to get more proven innovations into the hands of clinicians and patients, faster.

Our session will equip participants with practical information about government and NHS England funding programmes; internal hospital or system innovation grants and programmes; accelerator and incubator programmes such as the Clinical Entrepreneur Programme, National Innovation Accelerator, NHS InSites programme, and partnerships with universities and tech companies.

Participants will gain practical and actionable information, such as where to find support and funding, and encouraging participants to initiate local schemes.
