The sheer size of the NHS, opportunities to access diverse health data and a high-performing life sciences sector, means that the UK is uniquely positioned to drive advances in healthcare through research and innovation.

In this session, experts will discuss the strategic direction for research and innovation and what more needs to be done to realise the opportunities presented by innovation in areas such as genomics, AI and data, to deliver better and more sustainable care for local populations.
