The BLN lunch is a popular annual fixture at NHS ConfedExpo, giving network members and supporters a space to celebrate collective progress and personal achievements, and to hear from thought leaders in the field of anti-racism and health inequalities.

We will be joined by Cllr Dr Jacqui Dyer MBE, vice chair of England's Mental Health Taskforce and co-founder and chair of Lambeth’s Black Thrive Partnership, which takes a collective impact approach to improving the mental health and wellbeing of its Black Caribbean and African citizens through addressing inequities in the system.

Attendees will hear about Jacqui's passionate commitment to championing lived experience, community engagement and improvement through collaboration.

We know that black men face significant disparities in the mental health system. During this session we will examine the intersections of race, racism and men's health and hear about the solutions developed to foster true accountability to the community, which are beginning to have a positive impact in this space.

Participants will have the opportunity to network, discuss challenges, solutions and best-practice examples and put their questions to our expert speaker.
